Lindsey Marie Coffey is a fashion model and activist born in Centerville, Pennsylvania. She began her career in 2012 and has appeared in editorials for Vogue, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan to name a few. Her clients include prestigious brands such as L’Oreal, Maybelline, Elie Tahari, Lululemon, Nike, and MAC Cosmetics amongst others.
During her career she travelled the world and experienced different cultures and environments. As a young nature enthusiast, Lindsey fell in love with the world and all nature had to offer. Then in 2018 Lindsey experienced a natural disaster during the worst water shortage in the history of South Africa. By experiencing both the beauty of different cultures as well as witnessing their hardships, Lindsey became an advocate for environmental protection.
With a background in Political Science that focused on government, public policy, and political behavior using humanistic and scientific perspectives, she turned her public platform into a place of environmental awareness and green solutions. While campaigning for the protection of our natural resources and addressing the water crisis, Lindsey also advocates for climate justice, focusing on racial inequality and economic disparity, and their impact on sustainability.
Lindsey is also a Climate Reality Leader, WWF Ambassador, and the first American to win the international title of Miss Earth 2020. She works with Beauties for a Cause, Clean Ways, Greenpeace International, Adopt-a-Highway, and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership to promote environmental protection and address overconsumption, littering, and waste management. With her background, she also lobbied on Capitol Hill for nature and wildlife conservation with our legislative branch. Her collaborations include The Clean Earth Project, Act Now, Listen First Coalition, and Food for Life Global.
